Happy St. Patrick’s Day.
Hope everyone has been having a great month thus far. I wanted to provide you with a few updates for this week and share with you some fantastic news.
Hotel announcement: we will be staying at the Roosevelt Hotel in New York City. It is located on 45 East 45th Street. Best of all, the hotel is home to our conference and our Book Signing event on Sunday. Plus, the hotel gave us an additional discount on the rooms. Single & doubles are only $219 a night and suites are only $439 a night. I know you’ll love the Roosevelt’s spacious rooms and old world charm. Below is the reservation hotline. The reservation line is available 24/7.
The Hotel Reservation line is 888-833-3969.
Please book your rooms today! Remember, there’s nothing to pay up front and you can change your dates as necessary. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me. Remember, you also receive the same discount rates for two days before and after the conference. There many fabulous attractions to see and enjoy in New York City. Just four blocks in either direction you have amazing sites such as Rockefeller Center, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, NBC Observation Center, and Time Square just to name a few. And of course, Broadway shows are everywhere.
Here’s some more information you may like to have. For those traveling into New York City:
For those flying in, your closest airport is John F. Kennedy.
For those taking a train, Grand Central Station is across the street.
For those coming by bus, the bus depot is a short cab ride away. (I think it would cost you about $10 to the hotel as it’s only 10-15 blocks away.)
Program Schedule
To review the workshops available please go to our website and click on WORKSHOPS. You’ll be able to see all the workshops we have available. All our workshops are open to participants whether they are authors or readers. Our program schedule is also available letting you know the times we’ll be conducting events. Our workshop schedule will be available in the months to come. Not to worry, you’ll have plenty of time to schedule your days and choose which workshops you’ll be attending. Just remember our days start at 9:00 am and finish at 5:30 p.m. Plus we have a few mix and mingles planned from 5:30 to 7:30 pm giving you plenty of time to enjoy the New York Nightlife. And if you’re coming early and want to hang with Dr. Charley Wednesday night and get a drink, you’re welcome to do so.
We are planning to have a recording made of all the workshops available at a nominal fee for attendees; this way, you’ll always have this valuable information available at your fingertips. Best of all, you won’t have to worry that you missed a class you wanted to attend. We’ll have more on this offer in the months ahead.
On another note: I’d like to share some fantastic news with you. I’ve been hired to conduct workshops in China for women on sensual health and self-empowerment. I’ll be traveling back and forth to China to conduct a series of workshops quarterly. I’m so thrilled and honored to have this opportunity. I’m already being called the Empress of Love there. (This picture was taken last year when I traveled to China to seek before the Chinese Sexology Association.)
I am learning how to speak Chinese—Mandarin—at the moment so I can at least say a few words. By the end of the year, I hope to be able to speak Mandarin fluently. My first event is in June for a week. Please note, my going to China does not affect BDSM WRITERS CON in any way. We have a wonderful Conference Committee in place that will be taking care of things while I’m away for the week; plus, I’ll be coming home with some great swag to give away.
As always, please feel free to contact us if you have any questions.
