Are you dying to tie someone up but don’t know the difference between a granny knot and a half hitch?  Are you a writer and want to learn the basics to enable you to write a great bondage scene? Then look no further.

This workshop will be a combination of a live demonstration and (if time permits) a hands-on education on Bondage Basics. We will address:

        Basic Rope Safety

        Single Column Tie

           Double Column Tie

                   Basic Chest Harnesses

By the end of this workshop, you will know how to tie up your partner or a willing volunteer. Class participants will be partnered up with other conference attendees. You will trade off with each other as you learn how to perform each tie. If you merely want to experience being tied, that’s okay as well. Your rope buddy will appreciate all the practice they can get. Voyeurs are always welcomed–though you’ll find it’s so much fun to actually participate. Shy beginners welcomed!

Class materials: Minimum 2 ropes, 6 mm, and 30 ft in length.
Bring your own quality rope to use for this workshop. If enough participants bring their own rope, we’ll make this a “hands-on” workshop. If not, it’ll be a demo only.

Unfortunately, our vendors and our instructors do not sell rope. The instructor will decide whether to do hands-on or just demo to allow you to see what the various ways to tie a person up looks like. No suspension will be done, however you may ask questions about it. 

Ramon is a BDSM Expert and an active member of the NYC BDSM scene, and is involved with various organizations including The Eulenspiegel Society (TES), where he is a Board member and co-facilitator of the Dominant Men / submissive women Special Interests Group  as well as a class presenter. In his spare time, Ramon designs and fabricates custom metal BDSM equipment and furniture. He particularly enjoys rope bondage, fire play, single tails, and making pretty girls cry.
