Roz Lee

BDSM Writers Con Featured Author and
Golden Flogger Award Nominee

Why did you begin writing BDSM novels?
I can’t say that I began writing BDSM novels intentionally. I sort of accidentally fell into writing erotic romance in the first place (that’s a long story), so attributing any planning to my career would be giving credit where it isn’t due! I hadn’t realized it until recently, but my second erotic romance had a BDSM theme. The hero was into rope bondage and a few other kinky things. I can only say, this is who my character was, so that’s the way I wrote his story.

Will you be attending BDSM Writers Con or another event we can meet you at?
I have a busy schedule in 2015 that includes the BDSM Writers Con Aug. 20-23rd. I’ll be at Wild Wicked Weekend in San Antonio Feb. 19-21st. Readers can find me at Authors After Dark in Atlanta, Aug.12 – 15th. For the first time ever, I’ll be in Kentucky Sept. 19th for the Kentuckiana Book Blitz. I have a page dedicated to my travels on my website – www.RozLee.net.Roz Lee, BDSM Writers Con, bondage, baseball, Charley Ferrer, kink

I heard you attended the inaugural BDSM Writers Con 2014 in New York City. What was it like?
Informative, friendly, and flawlessly run. I had an awesome time meeting a bunch of writers who were new to me, as well as readers. The workshops were excellent, and the presenters professional and open to every ridiculous question the attendees could come up with.

If you could share anything with us, what would it be?
I’d tell you how amazing it is to be a part of this writing community. I’ve met so many wonderful people—readers, writers, industry professionals, that have enriched my life. I never dreamed telling stories could take me to the places I’ve been.

What’s youRoz Lee, BDSM Writers Con, bondage, baseball, Charley Ferrer, kink r latest (upcoming) book about?
My work-in-progress is a historic BDSM story. Set in 1936, a very unromantic period in history, the challenge is in accurately portraying the BDSM community and drawing the reader into the time period.

Jimmy Doyle Walker is a professional baseball player with a penchant for kink. After being banned from the game for five years, he’s out to redeem his name and his career. He meets Evelyn at a tent Revival Meeting and senses a kindred spirit. Evelyn’s strict religious upbringing is at odds with her physical desires and it’s up to Jimmy Doyle to convince her that pleasure is not a sin.

Nominated for the Golden Flogger Award

USA Today Best-Selling author Roz Lee is the author of twenty erotic romances. The first, The Lust Boat, was born of an idea acquired while on a Caribbean cruise with her family and soon blossomed into a five book series published by Red Sage. Following her love of baseball, she turned her attention to sexy athletes in tight pants, writing the critically acclaimed Mustangs Baseball series. Roz has been married to her best friend, and high school sweetheart, for over three decades. Roz and her husband have two grown daughters (and a new Son-in-law) they couldn’t be more proud of.

Even though Roz has lived on both coasts, her heart lies in between, in Texas. A Texan by birth, she can trace her family back to the Republic of Texas. With roots that deep, she says, “You can’t ever really leave.” When Roz isn’t writing, she’s reading, or traipsing around the country on one adventure or another. No trip is too small, no tourist trap too cheesy, and no road unworthy of travel.
