Golden Flogger Award Nominee 2016
Properly, or not at All
Over the Knee Anthology

Why did you begin writing BDSM novels?
Honestly… there’s no particular reason! I’ve been writing for quite a while, and I’ve always enjoyed moving into new genres. I started out writing only M/F, but now I also write F/F, M/M and ménage. I’ve gradually been adding new genres to my writing credits—contemporary, paranormal, BDSM, femdom, maledom, spanking… the list goes on. I just enjoy the variety!

What does being nominated for the Golden Flogger Award mean to you?
It was a real surprise and incredibly exciting! I’m in amongst some seriously talented writers in the Over the Knee anthology, so hopefully we’re in with a good chance of winning. But if we don’t, well, it was an incredible honour just being nominated, so I’m still happy!

What is the hardest part of writing your novel?
The nomination I have is actually a short story in an anthology, but I have written a couple of BDSM novels, too. I don’t think writing BDSM is any harder than writing other types of books. In any books, yes it’s fiction, but you still have to check facts and make sure it’s realistic (unless it’s paranormal, of course), otherwise you risk ruining it for readers.

Tell us a little about yourself and your writing works.
I write erotica and erotic romance in different lengths and sub-genres. I really enjoy the variety. I’m currently working on a contemporary M/F novella, which I’m hoping to get finished before Christmas. Fingers crossed!

My latest release is actually the standalone version of the story in the Over the Knee anthology. Properly, Or Not At All will be available from all good retailers from 8th December.

Will you be attending BDSM Writers Con or other events we can meet you at?
I won’t be attending BDSM Writers Con, unfortunately. I would love to, one day! I’ll need a bestseller so I can afford the air fare J The next event I’ll be at is the Dedicated 2 Books Signing in Liverpool, England on 19th March 2016:
