We wanted to know what author, Marie Tuhart thought of BDSM Writers Con 2014. Here’s what she had to say.

 

Why did you attend BDSM Writers Con?
As a writer, I wanted to learn more about the lifestyle to make sure I understood it and how to portray the lifestyle in my books.

What was your experience like?
I had a wonderful time at the conference. All the workshops were top notch and I learned a lot. Dr. Charley Ferrer and her staff did a fantastic job.

What workshops did enjoy the most?
I would have to say the one on Knives with NautiBoy and his partner. It helped me understand Edge Play.

We heard there were items being raffled off to help raise money for NCSF. Did you win anything?
Yes, I won the rose floggers – I thought the raffle gifts were wonderful and the money went to a worthy organization.

What was your most memorable experience?
Being able to talk with others about BDSM without having to worry what they would think!

Would you return to BDSM Writers Con 2015?
I would if I could afford it. I’m on the West Coast and the trip is hard for me. But eyeing 2016.
