Tell us a little about yourself and your writing works.
I am an erotic romance/thriller author and an occasional naughty poet from Fort Worth, Texas. I enjoy stimulating your mind and body one word at a time. I have a five novel erotic thriller series, Getting Him Off; a romantic comedy novella, The Mysterious Mr. Blackstone; a Dom/sub erotic romance novel, Naturally His; and, two poetry collections, Naughtiness is Contagious, An Orgy of Erotic Poetry, and Poetic Nympho. For the latest list of my books, please visit my website at http://www.crlemons.com.

Why did you begin writing BDSM novels?
I wanted to write beyond the sex play that is widely accepted in society of what BDSM is and is commonly written about as well. When I was introduced to the lifestyle, I was surprised that there was more to BDSM than role play. There is a connection/bond side of BDSM that is extraordinarily beautiful and I wanted to write stories interpreting it as best as I could in hopes that readers will be more knowledgeable of how rewarding a relationship can be that involves BDSM.

What is the hardest part of writing your novel?
Ultimately, I wanted to write a novel that made the BDSM community proud. With that being said, I wrote from a particular point of view and some of it may not be accustom to what the community may see as a standard. So, that would be the hardest part of writing my novel was to stick with certain ideas that may not be the universal rule even though overall my intention was to do right by the community standards. One of the things I write about is one set of guidelines for one couple/trio/etc. may not be a good fit for another because there are so many different variants of the lifestyle. As a result, it is a daunting task to be able to make everyone proud in the community.

Which ‘naughty’ historical person would you most like to have dinner with?
Alfred Kinsey… Men that explore sexuality deeply more than just an act and having vast sexual knowledge especially of the female orgasm fascinate me. Also, it doesn’t hurt that my celebrity crush Liam Neeson played him in a movie.

Will you be attending BDSM Writers Con or other events we can meet you at?
Yes, I am planning on attending BDSM Writers Con. Also, I do book signings throughout the year. At the moment, I have one scheduled during SXSW in Austin, Texas, in March 2018, and one at Valley Forge in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, in May 2018. After receiving a degree in paralegal studies, C. R. Lemons was a paralegal for many years until deciding on a career change of currently managing her award-winning, family-owned business.

As a child, she would sneak her mom’s romance novels and lose herself in them. She always had an active imagination and dreamt of sharing it through writing. This dream finally came true with her published catalog… a five novel erotic thriller series, Getting Him Off; a romantic comedy novella, The Mysterious Mr. Blackstone; a Dom/sub erotic romance novel, Naturally His; and, her two poetry collections, Naughtiness is Contagious, An Orgy of Erotic Poetry, and Poetic Nympho.
