This has been an exciting two week for the BDSM WRITERS CON Conference Committee. We’ve finally got our new website up and running. Please tell us what you think.

You’ll notice we have created several new sections in the website to provide more information such as: Attending Authors and Program Schedule. We’ve also added an FAQ section which is not only written but has videos as well so send in those questions. Thanks to several of our participants for suggesting the Attending Authors page and our FAQ section where you can ask questions about the conference or the BDSM lifestyle. (You talk…we listen. smiles.)

We’ve also created a private members only Yahoo Group for conference participants so you can share questions, look for roommates, schedule parties, etc.

I previously mentioned the voice mail program by Speakpipe I’ve added to the website. It allows you to leave us a quick voice message of up to 90 seconds. We can also respond that way as well. It’s such fun to us. Try it for yourself.

This month our special prizes are having lunch with three of our fabulous authors:  Desiree Holt, Samantha Cayto, and A.C. James. Plus Matthew Scrivens, Miranda Baker, and Leia Shaw have also agreed to sharing lunch with participants. Yahoo! That’s six prizes for this month. Don’t you just love our authors? When you win, you can choose your favorite or soon to be favorite author to share some private time with as you enjoy a lunch in one of the many great restaurants in NYC.

Don’t forget to join our Affiliate Program and get paid for helping us spread the word. It’s easy. Go to Affiliates page, click on the logo, fill out the info and you’re done. Once you get your affiliates code, paste the logo and line on your website and you’re done. If you don’t have a website, send the link itself to your friends and they can open it to sign up. It’s that simple.

Special note for authors: for those of you that are Featured Authors or would like to be, please ensure to provide me with your picture (150 x 150 pixels) and a brief 150 work bio. Please ensure your picture file identifies you and your book covers by name. To be featured on a particular week please, be sure to provide us with a 1-page blog post that talks about you, your books, and why you’re attending the conference. Feel free to provide pictures of your books. If you have a new book coming out and want your post to be released during that week/month let us know.

Next week we will introduce several new BDSM workshops. We are teaming up with several experienced lifestyle practitioners to bring you special Discussion Panels providing information on various aspects of the D/s lifestyles as well as Live Demos. Some of the live demos are on Flogging, Knife Play, Fire Play, and Bondage.  If there’s a workshop or demo you’d like us to provide, let us know and we’ll see what we can do.

Remember to add us to your approved browser and email list since our name sometimes gets us sent to the naughty bin.
