If you missed BDSM Writers Con – Seattle last week, you missed out on another unique experience.
Rope Presenter–Night
We had some fabulous new presenters and discussions concerning BDSM. During this BWC, Christina regaled us with discussions on the Leather Community, Hunter demonstrated a few caning techniques on his lovely assistant Wanda, and Tarryn introduced us to the world of Boot Blacking and why these unsung heroes and heroines are so important in the Leather and BDSM community. Master Kelly & her boi discussed the needs of a D/s relationship, slave Bunny provided some amazing insights into the 1950’s Structured Lifestyle, and Kiki whispered a few naughty delights about “Getting your Switch On.” And of course, there was no escaping Night’s rope presentation…my glasses are still steaming. Oh wait, I don’t wear glasses. Talk about a steaming hot demo scene.
And though I loved all our presenters, it was the open-mindedness and desire to learn our participants displayed that made BDSM Writers Con—Seattle a joy to host and reinforces my desire to help others learn. Our authors were constantly asking questions of the presenters to discover how to breathe more realism into their characters; and our readers shared their desires for more education and more insightful storytelling. Plus, everyone loved learn, exploring techniques and trying a little hands-on demo for themselves.

For those that didn’t get a chance to attend, you missed out on winning some amazing whips donated by Victor Tella from Snake Whips and the canes Hunter donated during our daily raffles. We even had a few bottles of wine donated by our authors; one bottle coming from a private vineyard in Canada. Best of all, this year, we got a change to spend an hour getting to know three of our Featured Authors more intimately: Rose C. Carole, Lilith Darville, and Kristine Cayne before the book signing.
As always, it’s my pleasure to host BDSM Writers Con and help readers and writers discover the truths about dominance and submission. I look forward to seeing you all at one of our next BDSM Writers Con which will be hosted in New York City for the next few years.
During our upcoming BDSM Writers Con, August 16 – 19, I’m going to be hosting a Morning of Sightseeing for anyone that wishes to join me on Wednesday, August 15 from 10:00 a.m – 3:00 pm. This is a FREE event! I’ll take you to some of my favorite NYC sights, including:
