NCSF works hard to ensure our sexual rights and sexual freedom; something so many of us take for grant. Yet did you know that practicing consensual BDSM in many states is against the law? Or that in some places–even in the military–you can be arrested for participating in a threesome?

NCSF will be conducting two workshops:  BDSM & The Law and Consent Counts. Two topics which are important for anyone that participants in Dominance and submission.


The National Coalition for Sexual Freedom is committed to creating a political, legal, and social environment in the United States that advances the equal rights of consenting adults who practice forms of alternative sexual and relationship expression. NCSF advances the rights and advocates for consenting adults in the SM-Leather-Fetish, swing, and polyamory communities. We pursue our vision through direct services, education, advocacy, and outreach in conjunction with our partner organizations to directly benefit these communities.


Susan Wright, BDSM Writers Con, Charley Ferrer, kink, bondage, fetishesSusan Wright founded the National Coalition for Sexual Freedom in 1997, a national advocacy organization for the BDSM, swing and polyamory communities, and currently serves as spokesperson for the organization. She chaired the successful DSM-5 Revision Project, and coordinated the SM Policy Reform Project for the National Organization for Women (NOW) which resulted in rescinding their anti-BDSM policy at their national conference in 1999.
