Selling Your BDSM Fiction and Non-fiction
Join us for a panel discussion with various publishers, editors and literary agents on how to market your BDSM short stories, novellas and novels, as well as memoirs and how-to books to the growing erotica market. Discover what editors and publishers are buying as well as predictions for the future and how to make your manuscript worthy of publication. Self-published authors will benefit from this workshop as well as discover ways to expand their market and improve their manuscripts to enable them to complete with other small press and the bigger houses.

Lori Perkins
Lori is the Publisher of Riverdale Avenue Books, a hybrid publisher of 8 imprtins inlcuding erotica, erotic romance, memoir, LGBTQ, pop culture, sports, mystery and gaming titles. She is also the President of the L. Perkins Agency whose clients include Cecilia Tan, Laura Antonio, Debra Hyde, Jenna Jameson, and Vivid, among others. She is the editor of 22 erotica anthologies includeing 50 WRITERS ON 50 SHADES OF GREY and the first zombie romance anthology, HUNGRY FOR YOUR LOVE. She has edited more 300 erotica titles. She is also one of the founding partners in RomanceBeat.com, a romance news and gossip website. Riverdale Avenue Books hosts two monthly reading series for erotica and erotic romance writers in NYC, Between the Covers. Louise Fury

Louise Fury is a literary agent in NYC and specializes in erotic romance and also represents other subgenus of romance, young adult material and pop culture nonfiction. She has sold books to both traditional and electronic publishers including Random House, Harper Collins, Simon & Schuster to name a few. Louise encourages authors to have one foot in traditional publishing and the other in the digital-first arena. She believes in staying ahead of the pack by embracing change, not just adapting to it and is a huge advocate for exploring secondary rights. She’s sold audio, film and foreign rights for her clients. Louise, a native South African, lives in Manhattan, but travels to Cape Town every year, where she spends time educating South African writers, meeting with international publishers and distributing books
Latoya started her editorial career as an administrative assistant to New York Times bestselling author, Teri Woods at Teri Woods Publishing. It was there that she discovered her passion for book publishing while pursuing her Bachelor’s Degree at Temple University. She then attained a full-time position at Kensington Publishing in March of 2006. In October 2006, Latoya moved over to Grand Central Publishing. Since then, Latoya has acquired a variety of titles from Hardcover fiction and non-fiction, to digital romance and erotica titles. She was also featured in Publishers Weekly, USA Today as well as various author, book conference, and book blogger websites. She is the winner of the 2012 RWA Golden Apple for Editor of the Year, and most recently, appeared on CSpan2. Latoya acquires short and long form romance in various subgenres.
Rachel Kramer Bussell
Rachel has edited of over 50 erotica anthologies, including The Big Book of Submission: 69 Kinky Tales, Cheeky Spanking Stories, Bottoms Up, Spanked, Anything for You: Erotica for Kinky Couples, Please, Sir, Please, Ma’am, He’s on Top, She’s on Top, Lust in Latex, Baby Got Back: Anal Erotica, Hungry for More and the annual Best Bondage Erotica series. Her favorite is The Big Book of Orgasms. Surrender: Erotic Tales of Pleasure and Submission won the NLA-I Samois Anthology Award. She lives in New Jersey, writes widely about sex, dating, books and pop culture and Tweets @raquelita.
