Golden Flogger Award Nominee 2016
Why did you begin writing BDSM novels?
I love to read them so it was a natural move to start writing them. As the saying goes, write what you want to read!
Do you participate in D/s activities or merely write about them?
Let’s just say that some of the techniques in the Hooded Pleasure series are drawn from real life. *wink, wink*
What is the hardest part of writing your novel?
Not getting bogged down in the details. There’s a difference between the fantasy and the reality and it’s difficult to make sure you balance both when you’re writing an intense physical and emotional scene.
Tell us a little about yourself and your writing works.
I tend to bash out a first draft and race to the end before going back and putting meat on the bones, as it were. I always make sure I know the ending I’m aiming for so even if the characters might wander a bit during the story they always end up where and with whom they’re supposed to be at the end!
Will you be attending BDSM Writers Con or other events we can meet you at?
Unfortunately I’m not a big one for traveling and tend to stay home. I do go to the Origins Game Fair every year in Columbus, Ohio as a member of the Library. If you’re in the area I’d love for you to stop on by and check out the writing panels, the yearly anthology of short stories that I’ll be contributing to and have a great time playing games!
